The Silent Cry: The Haunting Encounter of a Doppelgänger
I had a dream I was going to school. I walked into class, and saw that there was someone introducing themselves to the class. I walked in, and saw myself. It was me, or someone who looked exactly like me, introducing himself as a new student. Except he acted nothing like me. Whereas I'm quite quiet and inexpressive, he was constantly cracking jokes to the class and laughing along with them. I wanted to yell out "That's not me! I'm here!" but no one could hear me. Eventually, his expression went blank and he looked at me, staring me straight in the eyes as a few tears started streaming down his face. No one reacted, and it was suddenly as if no one recognized his presence either. It was just me and the fake me, staring at each other, with him crying silently. I closed the door to collect my thoughts, and tried to peek inside again. But it was completely empty, and no one was there.
This dream may indicate that you have a fear of being misrepresented or misunderstood by others. The fact that the person in your dream looked exactly like you, but behaved differently suggests that you feel like a part of yourself is being hidden or misrepresented to others. The tears may symbolize deep emotions that you may not be comfortable expressing outwardly, and the fact that no one reacted to the other version of you may indicate that you feel like your true self is being ignored or overlooked in some aspect of your waking life. The empty classroom at the end might represent a feeling of isolation or disconnection. It may be important to consider your current relationships with others and how they may relate to this dream.
